Pesto

Yield: 1 x 90 gram bag that can be frozen, good for two people

  1. Grind ¼C unsualted pistachio nuts
    • Pistachio nuts is a 1:1 replacement for ¼C pine nuts
  2. Add ¼C nutritional yeast and blend
    • Nutritional yeast is a 1:1 replacement for ¼C parmesean cheese
  3. Squeeze ¼C lemon
  4. Approximately 1Tb of water
    • The lemon and water is a replacement for oil and facilitates mixing
  5. Gradually add 20-30 fresh (washed) basil leaves
  6. Add ¼ avocado at the end and blend
