Strawberry Jam

Recipe #1
  1. Acquire approximately 5 cups fresh strawberries
  2. Clean and wash the strawberries
  3. Put in a large pressure cooker
  4. Mash strawberries with a potato masher
  5. Add:
    • ½t olive oil
    • sugar
      • Try: 19oz = 2C
        • ⟶ Sickeningly sweet
      • Try: 9oz sugar
    • A tablespoon? of lemon juice
  6. Simmer on low heat until the sugar has melted
  7. Heat on high until boiling
  8. Pressure cook on high for 2 minutes, natural release
  9. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes until the desired consistency
